They are a 10 ball clutch throwout bearing, the small starter clutch gear for the end of the trans. mainshaft (NOS) which is only used with the early bearing, and the propeller style lockplate for the nut that holds the starter clutch to the end of the mainshaft. It is used to lock the nut and also acts like an oil slinger. One of the propellers is broken off but can be repaired. Please let me know if you have any questions. Definitely some very rare items. $200.00 for all three. [ picture included ]

114. 02/27/2010 vintageamerican@sti.net message: 2/27/ Indian 4 cylinder motor.. this motor is completly rebuilt.. rotating parts spun balanced, new pistons, rings,cylinder bore, new babbitt , line bored, crank journals ground, new valves intake & exhaust, new rocker arm bearings, new kevlar clutch, all new bronze bushings through out, new gears (cluster, slider, low speed, high speed) ... this is an engine made up from spare parts that I have accumulated through the years, it has 1938 cylinders powder coated , and heads,valve covers, the upper case is from an early 5 main motor machined to the 1938 specifications. all hardware has fresh chrome plated the upper case has cracks repaired... included is exhaust manifold and shield , intake manifold 741 carb, intake mainfold, generator (condition unknow but complete/distributor.. this is a motor for some one that wants an Indian 4 cylinder cycle to ride.. this motor has only ran on a test stand less that 2 hours running time.. e-picturs are available [ picture included ]

105. 02/20/2010 rareparts33@yahoo.com message: i have a 1913 excelsior motor in really good condition. it looks to be all one animal, meaning the mag. and carb look to be original to the motor. my bet is if i cleaned the carb and figured out a way to crank it i could get it to fire. the carb is all there and has no number, it only says pat. pending. the mag is a bosch ze-1 with the wire that goes up to the plug (it is missing the end cap). it even has the original spark plug in it, champion, i can turn it out with my hand. there are two broken fins and the cylinder is weather worn. the motor is in a nicely constructed stand and it looks to have ran a coveyor or something on a farm out doors, judging by the condition of the head of the cylinder. asking 4500 dollars or best offer. This was a one owner bike when I got it a while back and it has not run in many years. I believe it is original paint but the Gas Tank was switched with one off a Warrior at one time. The original Indian Skis are nice complete factory originals with all the hook-ups and hardware and don't appear to have been used. The bike even has the original Indian Script Tires. I don't think it has many miles since new and I can't tell by the Speedo as a NOS one was also installed at one time. The bike depicted is REPUTED to be the bike that Dan Statnekov bought from boozefighter John Cameron and "restored" it to board track configuration before selling it back to Harley for their museum. In other words this painting depicts an important lost historic segment in the life of this bike and it's owner who was one of the first to lap the English Brooklands banked concrete race track at over 100mph. The painting was executed by a skilled Canadian illustrator approximately 20 years ago using historically accurate subject matter. 704. rareparts33@yahoo.com message: i have a 1913 excelsior motor in really good condition. it looks to be all one animal, meaning the mag. and carb look to be original to the motor. my bet is if i cleaned the carb and figured out a way to crank it i could get it to fire. the carb is all there and has no number, it only says pat. pending. the mag is a bosch ze-1 with the wire that goes up to the plug (it is missing the end cap). it even has the original spark plug in it, champion, i can turn it out with my hand. there are two broken fins and the cylinder is weather worn. the motor is in a nicely constructed stand and it looks to have ran a coveyor or something on a farm out doors, judging by the condition of the head of the cyinder. i will try to attach a picture, but you never know if it will work. oh i almost for got, im looking to get 3500 dollars or bect offer. 650. bob@lulandfamily.com message: 11/11/09 Up for sale is a big twin 1939-1/2 four speed tranny case. I bought this thinking it was a 48. It said J8 and the vent was there so I never gave it any mind. Until! Some moron put a bolt that was too long in the kicker support and blew a ? hole in the bottom of the case. So I packed it up and shipped it off to Carl Olsen. This is when my bubble got popped when Matt informed me that it wasnt a 48. Carl welded up the hole, addressed the treads in the adjuster and drain hole, Installed a new main bearing race and line bore it. The case is mint at this point. He repaired the hole really well. You would not have any problem installing the reverse idler gear pin if you so choose. All the studs are new. The shifter top indexing pins have also been parkerized. All other threads are in great shape. Case is beaded, cleaned and ready for assembly. The case is for sale out right or will trade for an early 48 in the same shape. Call Bob 201-656-0737

Early 46 version without the modified front tank mount for the spark advance cable. Palmers book says it was for the first third of the total 46 production (to May at the latest) making this one of about 3422 early 46 frames. Apparently its known as a "46 - mid 47 Big Twin "Bull Neck" 30 degree steering head frame", so maybe correct to mid 47. Im no expect though, so do your homework and ask for photos. I WILL SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. My appologies to everyone who wrote before, as I thought it was a 41-45 frame. We all know what its worth but I am open to a reasonable offer or interesting trades. I can maybe use a 1937 Big Twin frame. Thanks, George.

Motor is complete, less carb. Matching cases, no damage, no repairs. Appears never to have been apart. Kicks over fine with good compression but needs to be restored. Only issues are a very small piece broken off at top generator bolt hole on cam cover (easy fix) and the heads are a little rusty. Othwerwise in very good condition. No dents, glass does not have scratches, needls is free and I was told by the guy who gave it to me it worked well and has been i a box since, apx. 20 years. Has odometer , trip odometer and needle "hold" feature for pacing vehicle.
